Kim Rood - Canada - Ontario He became a passionate fly fisher the first time he rose a rainbow to a Hendrickson. Since that time he has delved deeper and deeper into the sport. 45,000km was put on his wagon during his first year pursuing fins on fly. Guides booked and learned from. A drift boat, 8 rods, and more fly tying materials than he cares to admit purchased. People tend to remember meeting him on the river. Maybe because he wears a unique hat, came over to ask how the fishing was, shared a beverage, or offered up his hot fly. All across Southwestern Ontario he has managed to create new friendships from people he's met on the water. He fishes from the Don River to the headwaters of the Maitland, Saugeen, Credit, and Humber. Essentially, he'll fish anywhere for anything. Care to join him? |
